Meet the Designer

Tamika L. Wilson, our owner and Creative Director, has always had a passion for the arts. She has been involved in the arts, in some form, since the age of six. In her life, she has traveled a variety of creative paths. Having enjoyed such positions as a visual artist, photographer, hair stylist, and nail technician, artistic endeavors have always intrigued her.

Knowing the importance of caring for one’s mental health from personal experience, Tamika was introduced to Art Therapy as a way to refocus and reframe during difficult times in her life. From her experience with Art Therapy came a passion to share art and creative expression with other women and girls who have suffered from various trauma.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, a virtual fellowship "Crafting & Conversations", was birthed through her. The feedback has shown that the participants benefit greatly from the event’s fellowship and have found that it boosts their mood and puts them in a better position to move forward in life.

While Tamika has served in many roles, the roles she loves most are as wife, mother, & "Mimi" (grandma). Also a mental health advocate, Tamika desires to positively affect lives, one creative project at a time.
